C-DMX™ Shells

Cinch's C-DMX product line is designed for aerospace interiors, specifically Inflight Entertainment, IFE. C-DMX designs are based on ARINC 809 and EN 4165 specifications. The C-DMX connectors are Durable, Modular and eXchangable. Their durability is verified through extensive product testing. Their modularity comes from the small number of shells that are able to accommodate a broad offering of inserts resulting in avionics, cabin lighting, and IFE applications. Their eXchangability is provided by meeting industry and company specifications. The C-DMX connectors are constructed of shells, inserts, contacts and backshells. The first step is selecting the shell and all shells are nickel plated composite. The number of shells is limited to 3, one plug with 2 receptacles. Product coding is available to key connectors and reduce rework of installation.
