are DC/DC power supplies that converts HVDC voltages in hybrid and electric vehicles to LVDC voltages suitable to power low voltage (12/24 Vdc) accessories. Allows for high voltage DC bus voltages to be utilized to drive low voltage automotive accessories. Replaces traditional alternator in hybrid electric and pure electric vehicles.
