Inserts for C-ENX provide a broad offering for signal, power and data (RF, Coax, Quadrax and fiber). Pin and socket inserts mate for a connection. ‘A’ size inserts are available for single cavity shells. ‘B’ size inserts are available in single, double, triple and quad cavity shells. Environmental inserts are typical and have rear elastomeric grommets and an interfacial seal on the pin side. However, inserts are also available with the interfacial seal or without the rear grommets. Inserts for double cavity shells are keyed A or B for polarization to reduce installation rework. Contacts can be delivered with inserts.
