C-ENX™ EN 4644 Modular Rectangular Connectors

Cinch’s C-ENX™ line of connectors designed to EN4644 is the next generation aerospace connector. C-ENX connectors allow optimized stacking of connectors and thereby reduce space compared to circular connectors. They are also modular which reduces rework and complexity because the same panel cutout is used on all variations and the same shell cavities for all inserts. Configurations are available for signal, power, data, RF, fiber.

C-ENX™ Overview

C-ENX™ connectors are comprised of an outer protective shell, sealed inserts, machined contacts and backshells where required. Shells are available for Disconnect and Rack and Panel applications. Shells are made from aluminum or nickel-plated composite. Disconnects for harnesses connecting to panels and Rack and Panel for panel to panel connections. Inserts position the contacts, prevent electrical shortages and provide an environmental seal against corrosive fluids. The contacts are available for crimping and soldering to PCBs. Finally, backshells are available for strain relief and for EMI protection.
